GERT HOLBEK (1928- )

A pipemaker, designer, and inventor, Gert Holbek worked with Jorgen Dahlerup, his childhood friend, on the design of the Prism Cutlery pattern. Although Prism proves still to be a very well received flatware pattern, and one can still see his stylistic sensibilities within the pattern, Holbek continues to gain fame for his pipes.
