Bente Bonné, 1929-1996, Danish glass artist. From 1941, Bente Bonné was a student of the sculptor Harald Isenstein and trained as a glass engraver from 1946-50 with Åse Voss Schrader . In her own workshop, she engraved from 1950 on both industrially produced glass and unique works. She is best known for her sculpturally designed works, both blown and made in the slumping technique. They often depict human figures, bodies and faces, characterized by both drama and poetry. Together with the silversmith Ib Bluitgen (1921-2013), she made jewelry.
